Many celebrities call sunny California home, and though all that gorgeous weather can certainly be a mood booster, it also takes a toll on your skin.
They certainly know a thing or two about protecting their skin from the harsh L.A. sun, which is why sunscreen is often featured so prominently whenever celebrities reveal their best-kept beauty secrets. And it makes sense that celebrities place so much importance on the anti-aging and skin protecting benefits of SPF.
In addition to reducing your risk of developing skin cancer, wearing sunscreen daily has the added benefits of preventing the appearance of visible signs of aging, including dark spots, fine lines and wrinkles.
It goes without saying that in order to fully protect your skin from the sun, consistency is key - daily application is needed even on cloudy or cold days. Now that summer is here, now is the perfect time to refresh your stock in order to stay safe in the sun all seas long.
If you’re in the market for some new sunscreen, we’ve gathered a few of our favourite stars’ past recommendations and their top picks for sun safety.
