No child should grow up with low self-confidence, but that was the case for 10-year-old Kheris Rogers, who was bullied by her classmates for her darker skin.

After changing schools to escape the teasing, her older sister, Taylor Pollard, set out on a mission to help boost her sister’s confidence.

In March, Pollard posted pictures of Rogers on Twitter calling her baby sis “royalty,” along with the hashtag #FlexinInHerComplexion. The tweet currently has more than 100,000 likes and shares, along with an endless thread of compliments.

The positive words not only helped raise Rogers’s self-esteem, but they inspired her to start her own unapologetic clothing line, Flexin’ in My Complexion (check out her merch!)

Now the young entrepreneur is celebrating all she’s become in a photo shoot that showcases her gorgeous brown skin. Click through the gallery to view the stunning photo series of this fierce little girl. Kheris, we can’t wait to see what you do.
