NEOSTRATA Sheer Physical Protection SPF 50
I like to use moisturizers and foundations that have SPF in them, but they usually don't offer a high SPF. In the summer, I like to use NEOSTRATA's Sheer Physical Protection under my foundation for added protection. It's a non-negotiable part of my routine. - Elizabeth Di Filippo, Lifestyle Editor

RMS Beauty Signature Set Pop Collection
My favourite thing about summer beauty is the ease and effortless vibe that’s totally in line with my less-is-more makeup philosophy. I love this mini palette for that exact reason, as it combines pretty much everything you need for a quick full face of makeup: a subtle bronzer, a natural-looking highlight for extra glow, two vibrant lip and cheek colours, and a rich, vanilla scented balm. - Kate Mendonca, Shopping Editor

Nudestix Nudies Tinted Blur Stick
The second the temperature gets over 20 C, I say goodbye to all my liquid foundation and move on to this foundation stick. If you like a full-coverage foundation, this isn’t for you, but I have incredibly oily skin and I find if I wear a lot of foundation in the summer I’ll just look greasy and it will slide right off my face (even with powder on top). Although it has a lighter coverage, the amount of product I have on my face at the beginning of the day is still there hours later, even in the heat. The “blur” effect the name suggests is also incredibly accurate, since it does smooth out my complexion beautifully. I really just wish it came in a bigger size. - Elisabetta Bianchini, News Editor

NARS Light Reflecting Pressed Setting Powder
No other formula on the market comes close to the clean and soft-matte finish of this light-reflecting pressed powder. Ideal for quick and easy on-the-go skin touch-ups, NARS’ award-winning powder is formulated to enhance and extend the wear of concealer and foundation for a luminous, natural look. — Alyssa Tria, Shopping Editor

Caudalie Vinosource Mattifying Moisturizer
Summer turns my skin into a pimple-infested, oily mess - so I rely on this lightweight, mattifying moisturizer to hydrate without the heaviness. - Hilary Hagerman, Lifestyle Managing Editor

L'Oréal True Match Lumi Glotion Natural Glow Enhancer
I like to mix a small amount [of this] with my daily foundation on the back of my hand or a tray, and apply with a beauty blender. I feel like it really stretches the life of my foundation and helps me avoid looking too matte. - Elizabeth Di Filippo

Valmont Primary Solution
Since transitioning to working from home my skin has been more sensitive than usual, resulting in blemishes that I don’t usually have to deal with. Though this serum/spot treatment is a definite luxury, it’s been a lifesaver in helping to calm problem areas as they come up. You really only need a pinprick sized amount of product to treat affected areas, so I plan on using it all summer long - and beyond. - Kate Mendonca

Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer Murumuru Butter Bronzer
This is one of my favourite bronzers that I keep returning to, especially in the summer. It's a soft, blendable formula that has Murumuru Butter which is an anti-inflammatory packed with vitamins - and it smells amazing! - Elizabeth Di Filippo

SkinCeuticals Physical Fusion UV Defense SPF 50
Helping provide a healthy and radiant complexion while also protecting your skin with SPF 50, this SkinCeuticals broad-spectrum sunscreen is formulated with 100% mineral filters with translucent colour spheres for a tinted, natural-looking finish. The universal tint is said to be suitable for all skin tones. I love it because it doesn’t leave white streaks like other conventional sunscreens, and because it helps with oil-control. - Alyssa Tria

Rose Quartz De-Puffing Face Roller
The jury’s still out for me on whether face rollers actually do anything, but it’s part of a ~luxe feeling~ beauty routine, so I do it anyway. I keep this in the freezer for an extra shot of icy relief for puffy eyes or sallow skin. - Hilary Hagerman
SHOP IT: Herbivore Botanicals, $54
NYX High Definition Blush in Pink the Town
Pink the Town is a blendable, coral colour that I like to wear in the summer. I try not to go overboard since it can quickly look too orange, especially with bronzer, but it's perfect for just a hint on the cheeks. - Elizabeth Di Filippo
SHOP IT: NYX Cosmetics, $8
Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Bronzer
Summer beauty trends revolve around luminous skin, and nothing gives off a sun-kissed complexion like a creamy bronzer. This one by Fenty Beauty magically melts into the skin for a light-as-air, natural-looking contour. I have a medium-golden skin tone and I love the shade Hunnie Glaze. - Alyssa Tria

Organic Set & Protect Micro Mist SPF 30
I first found out about this genius sunscreen after watching Hilary Duff rave about it in her “Busy Mom Makeup Routine” video for Vogue. This ultra-fine mist provides an SPF 30, which is ideal for days when I’m working at my desk that sits right in front a large window. It’s also great to apply on top of your makeup as Hilary recommends, or if you’re like me and you just forget to put on sunscreen first thing in the morning. - Kate Mendonca
