2 men critically injured after shooting near mall in Coquitlam, B.C.
Two men were critically injured after a shooting near Coquitlam Centre Mall in Coquitlam, B.C., on Friday night, according to Mounties.
Coquitlam RCMP said in a statement that they received calls of gunshots in the parking lot of TD Bank, which is located at 1140 Johnson Street in the Metro Vancouver suburb.
It happened at 9:41 p.m. PT Friday, according to Mounties. They say they found two men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Both were rushed to hospital with critical injuries.
No one has been charged yet in the shooting, with investigators asking members of the public to send them information that may help police.

"We believe that there may be eyewitnesses that may have vital information that could advance our investigation", wrote Staff Sgt. Ed Yoshiyama in a statement.
CBC News has reached out to the Coquitlam RCMP to find out if the shooting was targeted and whether there is any risk to the public.
