Last night, the A-list pack donned all-black in honour of the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements. And in wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal which rocked Hollywood, it seemed everyone stood in solidarity.

But on second glance, there were three guests who didn’t receive the memo (or simply chose to ignore it).

Here are the famous faces who didn’t follow suit at this year’s Golden Globe Awards:

Blanca Blanco

Actress Blanca Blanco opted for a crimson cut-out gown for the awards ceremony last night but made it clear that she is a huge advocate for women’s rights.

In a statement to Refinery29, the actress explained: “I love red. Wearing red does not mean I am against the #TimesUp movement. I applaud and stand by the courageous actresses that continue to break the circle of abuse through their actions and their style choice.”

She continued, “It is one of many factors leading women to a safer place because of their status in the acting world. I am excited about the ‘Time’s Up’ movement because true change is long overdue.”

Meher Tatna

President of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Meher Tatna donned a traditional embroidered gown for the awards ceremony and added a ‘Time’s Up’ pin.

She told Entertainment Tonight: “When you have a celebration, you don’t wear black. So [my mum] would be appalled if I were to [have] worn black. And so this is, for [her].”

Barbara Meier

German fashion model Barbara Meier certainly garnered media attention when she arrived at the Golden Globes ceremony in a ruffled pastel gown.

The model has yet to comment on the reason behind her sartorial decision but has received backlash on social media.
