While the majority of comments were complimentary, one comment stood out to both Bure and her fans.

“All that exercising and you still look like you weigh more than your husband. Did you change your diet?” read the comment.

Instead of deleting the comment or leaving it alone, Cameron Bure was quick to reply.

“Nice troll,” she wrote. “If a 25 inch waist looks big to you… then you’re looking through an altered lens.”

But the troll was persistent — chocking the star’s reply to the fact that they confused Cameron Bure’s son for her husband, former NHLer Valeri Bure.

“Didn’t know it was your son, guess I hit a nerve, but someone who believes in the Bible wouldn’t be calling names,” they retorted.

While Cameron Bure didn’t engage further — her fans were quick to come to her defense.

While she hasn’t discussed it recently, the star has spoken in the past about her struggles with bulimia, admitting she had the eating disorder in 1995 after her almost 200 episodes with “Full House” wrapped.

Admitting she struggled to find balance after the show ended, Bure began a cycle of binging and purging to fill a void. She has since reclaimed her eating habits and commits to lifestyle of mostly vegan foods and intense workouts with a personal trainer.

While no time is the right time to be cruel, this criticism couldn’t come at a more perfect time for Bure who is showing she truly believes leading with kindness can be the best way to live. Her new book “Kind is the New Classy” is available in bookstores now.
