Is this 26-year-old too beautiful to find a boyfriend?

Cherelle Neille is a 26-year-old shop assistant from Manchester, U.K.. With thick, luscious curly locks, a tall svelte frame and an Angelina Jolie-esque pout — Neille is undeniably gorgeous. The problem is, Neille allegedly claimed she is too good looking to find a boyfriend. Providing further clarification, Neille claims that men are either hesitant to approach her because they think she might be “stuck up” or they solely view the single mother of one as eye candy.

According to the Daily Mail, the former model and aspiring actress reportedly said she felt that ‘plain Janes’ have it easier because men will attempt to know their personalities better.

“Whereas for me, it’s always the wrong attention, they never want to know me as a person,” Neille said. “Plain girls end up with the long lasting relationships and I’m the one kissing all the frogs.”

The mom added that she’s tired of people assuming that she’s “nasty” when she’s truly a lovely person. At this point she’s not even looking for a boyfriend.

“My looks attract the wrong guys and it has been really hard,” she noted. “They continually think just because I’m good looking, I am going to be rude or stuck up. They say to me ‘oh you think you are too good-looking don’t you?’ ”

The former model, known as chebella91 on Instagram, regularly shares photos with her more than 31,000 followers, but says she also receives abusive messages online. Random strangers will tell her she’s not pretty and to “kill” herself’ or accuse her of thinking she’s “too good for everyone.”

When she goes on dates, Neille says that guys never truly listen to what she is saying — she recalls one date when she tried talking about a recent news event, but her date simply didn’t care, he kept talking about her looks. In fact, Neille has had bad luck in her dating life for years, she believes her failed relationships could partially be due to the wrong types of men pre-judging her.

‘Girls that are more average-looking get to have those conversations with men and I have to be stuck with men not listening to a word I say,” she noted. “My last boyfriend just paraded me around to his friends and only cared about having his photo taken with me. No man I’ve met so far is ever actually interested in having a conversation with me.”

Aside from romance, Neill’s looks have apparently affected her friendships with other females.

“Girls are jealous too, I only really have one friend,” she said. “There was this one time I was clubbing with my friend and when we were in the bathroom, loads of girls I didn’t know were complimenting me, my hair and my looks. Then suddenly my friend walked out and left the club, and she hasn’t talked to me since!”

That’s one reason why the 26-year-old makes it a habit to compliment other girls and tell them what she loves about them. “It’s nice to be nice,” she noted.

Neille said that she’s funny and loves to laugh — she doesn’t want to be “less pretty” — she just wants men to treat her differently.

“I think there is a serious problem in society today with the way they treat pretty women,” she noted.

After her initial interview was posted in several U.K. newspapers, Neille took to her Instagram account to clarify her statements — she said she never meant to infer that she’s too good looking for a boyfriend, she just meant that guys sometimes think that if you look a certain way that you’ll be stuck up.

“So all I was saying is that I attract the wrong attention,” she clarified in an Instagram video.

Do not believe everything you read!!!! (P.s I don't want a boyfriend ????????)

In terms of “plain Janes” having it easier, the model said that we all have our “plain Jane” days.

“I just meant that girls who don’t get as much attention have it easier, not meaning in a physical sense but an online sense. Just because I have a lot of people following me on Instagram,” she explained. “Mainly because of my hair, because I give out hair tips about curly hair.”

“I’m just a normal girl from Manchester, I’m not a celebrity,” she confirmed in another video update. “I’m just a person who blogs about my hair.”
