Then pipe a thin line of white frosting around the exposed part of the cake pop, and cover it in more sugar crystals. Finally, paint blue food coloring on the sugar crystals, followed by edible gold paint along the perimeter to give the cake pop the appearance of a precious stone.

3. Cake pops disguised as oranges

“Orange” you excited to try these cake pops? To make this optical illusion dessert, add your favorite sheet cake to an electric mixer, and roll it into balls. Next, place the cake balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Then dip the end of a skewer into melted white chocolate that’s been dyed orange before sticking it in a cake ball. Coat the cake ball in the melted orange-colored chocolate followed by orange sugar sprinkles. Finally, top each cake pop with a small marzipan leaf before serving.

4. Strawberry waffle cake pops

Just when you thought chocolate-covered strawberries couldn’t get any better, strawberry waffle cake pops enter the picture. First, skewer the bottom of a strawberry and dip it into melted chocolate. Then let it harden. Next, cover the chocolate strawberry in waffle batter before deep-frying it until golden and crispy. Finally, dust the strawberry waffle cake pops with powdered sugar, and enjoy!

5. Bluebird cake pops

You’ll want to get your hands on one of these cake pops before they fly away! Start by adding your favorite sheet cake to an electric mixer, and mix until the cake becomes crumbled. Next, add powdered sugar and butter to the mix. Then thoroughly combine. Roll the batter into balls, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper before refrigerating for 30 minutes. Dip a stick into melted white and blue chocolate combined with shortening. Then skewer the cake ball. Cover the cake ball in the light blue chocolate mixture. Place a light blue M&M on each side to create the bird’s wings. Finally, add candy eyes and a chocolate-covered sunflower for the beak.
