From Woman's Day

Jada Pinkett Smith is stunning in virtually every photo she takes. And at 47, the woman is serious beauty goals, whether she’s wearing makeup or not.

In a recent selfie she took with her daughter, Willow, Pinkett Smith showed just how flawless her skin really is. In the photo, which Pinkett Smith shared on Instagram, both she and her daughter are wearing minimal makeup and posing next to each other. If you didn’t know any better, you could swear they were sisters. (For the record, Willow is 18.)

Apparently, good genes run in Pinkett Smith’s family. She’s shared photos on Instagram of her 65-year-old mom, Adrienne Banfield-Jones, who also looks amazing (check out that six pack!).

That three generational thing✨

Still, it’s pretty clear that Pinkett Smith works hard to take care of herself-and her skin. Here are just a few of the things she does to keep her skin so gorgeous in her late 40s.

She uses this drugstore astringent

Sure, celebrities can afford top of the line products, but Pinkett Smith recently sang the praises of a $5 drugstore product. She revealed on her Facebook Watch series, Red Table Talk, that she uses Clean & Clear Essentials Deep Cleaning Astringent on her skin.“It’s one of my favorite products,” she said on her show. “It is brilliant...It pulls all the stuff out, and it closes the pores as well. It’s awesome.” That’s because it contains salicyclic acid, an acne-fighting ingredient that gently exfoliates the skin and unclogs pores.

She lets her skin breathe

Pinkett Smith offered up even more tips during that Red Table Talk. She also shared that she likes to let her skin do its natural thing. “Even on makeup days, I try go to light,” she said. “I do a lot of steam on my skin. On days off, I use hardly anything. I try to give the skin a break. Less is more.”

She swears by hyaluronic acid

Pinkett Smith is a fan of Dr. Barbara Sturm’s Hyaluronic Acid Ampoules, according to People. Hyaluronic acid is a humectant, meaning it acts like a tiny sponge to pull water to the skin’s surface. The formula, which you pour into your palm and pat onto your skin, is designed to help diminish fine lines, replace moisture, and firm up your skin. Pinkett Smith apparently loves this treatment so much, she shared this testimonial on Sturm’s website: “Your face will radiate like you just got off a two week spa vacation.”
