From Woman's Day

Julia Roberts has been in the entertainment industry since the late '80s and, frankly, has looked near-flawless ever since. Throughout all her iconic roles from Pretty Woman to Eat, Pray, Love and beyond, she's made us wonder exactly what she does to keep looking that radiant. The Lancôme ambassador has been vocal about her love for their products, but she does have a few other tips for achieving her youthful complexion. Learn them all, ahead.

She never skips sunscreen.

Julia's Instagram is littered with photos of her and her kids having #funinthesun. In 2017, she told People, "As a responsible parent with three kids who love to be outdoors I rely totally on a good sunblock." She chooses Shade's SPF 30 for more active days as it "keeps working no matter how sweaty or how much time we spend in the water! It’s magical."

She always goes to bed with a clean face.

Roberts is a firm believer in taking off her makeup before bed. She told Viva that Lancôme's Bi-Facil Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover is one of her long time faves. "A lot of times you take off your eye makeup at night, and the next morning you wake up and look like you already put makeup on! But this formula gets rid of every stitch of makeup." As a longtime Lancôme ambassador, it is definitely no surprise to see this in her skincare routine.

She doesn't forget hydration.

The mom of three is all about feeling "hydrated and fresh" she told Allure. But her face isn't her only focus of hydration—she also gives her hands and feet some TLC. "My hands get very dry from washing a lot of dishes" she said, and one of her go-to's is Absolute Hand. "Its like butter—so hydrating and restorative" she told Hollywood Life. A natural remedy she has also reported to use is extra virgin olive oil on her face and hair. Vogue Italia reported that she creates an emulsified mixture of extra virgin olive oil with a little warm water and leaves it on like a mask for around a half hour. Talk about natural beauty.

She keeps her routine minimal.

When Viva asked her if her beauty routine was low or high maintenance, she replied, "Low, I could definitely go a little higher." She added, "On a regular day, I’ll just brush my teeth, wash my face, and apply sunblock. I’m a busy mom, and sometimes I just sunblock my kids and run outside and get my nose burned. So I’ve made a stronger effort to take care of myself." She also noted that she loves using Lancôme's Mousse Radiance Clarifying Self-foaming Cleanser on the daily.

She eats mindfully.

Its no secret that diet contributes to skincare and Julia totally gets it. She told the Toronto Sun, "We definitely try to eat mindfully," she explained. "As I always say to my kids, ‘You have to eat the good stuff to get the good stuff" and we totally agree! However, getting wrapped up in diet can be no joke, so her best advice is, "remain calm, drink your water, get your sleep and be joyful."
