Aging is and always will be (if we had to guess) a hot topic. Quite a few Americans spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars on products and services that aim to defy the process and worry about the way aging affects the mind and body. But in a new episode of Today With Hoda & Jenna, Hoda Kotb and guest co-host Andy Cohen shed light on how they're feeling about being 55 and 51 respectively, emphasizing how they've never been happier at this point in their lives.

"I feel like everything good in my life started happening when I turned 49," Kotb told Cohen. "I met Joel, [had] the kids, everything happened since then." Kotb, who has been with longtime boyfriend Joel Shiffman since 2013, expanded their family by adopting daughter Haley Joy in 2017. The two also welcomed Hope Catherine in April.

Cohen spoke about his experience with aging, saying that he doesn't really worry about it at all. "I’ve always been happy, and I know that's very annoying to hear, but I will say in my 40s and right now, I’m truly at my happiest," he told Kotb. "I feel like you get more settled in your life, you know what you want, you know who you are. It feels really good to be grounded in who you are."

Cohen also adopted a baby this year, welcoming Benjamin Allen as a single father in February. He added that he feels like he's 30, while Kotb said she probably feels like she's in her 40s. Basically, they're living their best lives!

Today with Hoda & Jenna fans absolutely loved the segment about how the co-hosts approach aging.

"Really enjoyed your show this morning, I turned 70 in August and have been feeling pretty down. This really helped me and lifted my spirits! ❤️" one Today fan wrote to Instagram, while another commented, "Awesome show today!! I’ll be 50 next month and this has totally inspired me to get up, get out and live!! Thanks for such an inspiring, positive message for aging."

Many others gushed about how they feel about Cohen as a co-host. Cohen has stepped in a few times to guest host Today with Hoda & Jenna as Jenna Bush Hager remains on maternity leave.

"I can't get enough of these two together ❤️👏👏👏 " a fan wrote to Instagram, where another said, "Best co-host ever! Love Andy as co-host!!!! Love the chemistry ya’ll have!" An addition commenter said, "Great week with these two!!! Andy come back soon you made it lots of fun watching you make Hoda giggle and laugh!!"

And as much as Today fans love Cohen, others wrote that they would love to see Bush Hager return to Today with Hoda & Jenna soon — with Cohen. "Keep Andy on the show! Hoda, Jenna and Andy!!" That'd be quite the trio!
