Purple's grid—the thing that the whole brand is built on, really—is a great piece of cooling tech. It's made to cradle pressure points, but the there's channels all throughout the grid, so it pulls double duty. At just over $1,000, it's a great value.
And as with the previous two mattresses on this list, it's a middle-of-the-road firmness. Purple's medium-firm might skew softer than Saatva's, but it is certainly not overly plush.

Every option thus far hasn't had any customization options. You can't choose firmness, nor can you do much about the smaller particulars of the mattress. This is par for the course when shopping for cooling models, honestly.
Tempur-Pedic's TEMPUR-breeze is not especially customizable, but you can at least choose soft or firm, and you can choose how much of a cooling layer you have. (That second one will affect the price.)
