Gwyneth Paltrow

GOOPGENES All-in-One Nourishing Face Cream

To shop: $95; sephora.com

As we shift from summer to fall and cooler weather kicks in, the skin has to work harder to maintain adequate moisture. And Gwyneth Paltrow, founder of Goop, know's that struggle all too well.

Fascinated by epigenetics (the science of how the environment can affect the way your genes are expressed) and its effects on the skin, the actress set out to create high-performance super creams to address as many of those changes as possible.

Her findings led to the creation of the All-in-One Nourishing Face Cream, the most recent addition to her GOOPGENES collection, and one of her favorite products for fall. The luxuriously rich cream helps to promote noticeable radiance and is clinically proven to provide 48 hours of increased skin hydration.

“It’s so good! It’s rich, nourishing, light and packed with plant ceramides," Paltrow shared in a statement. “You can apply it in the morning and evening.”

Miranda Kerr

Kora Organics Noni Glow Sleeping Mask

To shop: $48; sephora.com

Miranda Kerr, international model and founder of Kora Organics, says nutrition, health, well-being, and having balanced skin have all been important to her from a young age. In fact, it's what inspired her to create a clean skincare line.

“We use certified organic and natural products for one simple reason — because what you put on your skin soaks in,” Kerr shared with InStyle.

During the fall, the founder follows a religious skincare routine, which includes an overnight Kora Organics mask. “My favorite fall product is the Noni Glow Sleeping Mask, it’s more moisturizing and restorative than a regular night cream," she reveals. "When I wake up in the morning, my skin feels hydrated, plump, and [it's] glowing! It contains natural hyaluronic acid to lock in moisture while you sleep, helps soften fine lines and improves cell renewal, tone and texture. I apply it every night as the last step in my routine. My skin has honestly never looked better.”

The lightweight treatment mask is enriched with organic silver ear mushroom, coconut milk, caviar lime, and kakadu plum extracts, which work together to help reduce redness and even out skin tone. Another plus? The gel formula dries as a translucent veil, so no need to worry about it rubbing off on your pillowcase.

Rihanna

Fenty Skin Fat Water Pore Refining Toner Serum

To shop: $28; fentyskin.com

It’s no secret that Rihanna has amazing skin, but it hasn’t always come easy.

As a teen, she was overwhelmed by all of the skincare options available, and even tried a product that discolored her skin. However, after years of global experiences and exposure to so many skincare solutions, Rihanna decided to create Fenty Skin, a skincare range that is clean, simple, and effective.

The line consists of three uncomplicated, multitasking products: a 2-in-1 makeup remover-cleanser, a pore-refining toner-serum, and a moisturizer-sunscreen.

“Fenty Skin is everything I wish I had back then,” Rihanna explained in a statement. “I wanted it to feel approachable, easy and to take the pressure off choosing a routine, so I created one for everyone.”

Fenty Skin’s Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum is a great addition to any fall skincare regime, and it's also Rihanna’s personal favorite from her line. Infused with Barbados cherry, green tea, and fig, the toner helps to defend against environmental stressors and brighten the skin. “Fat Water does it all,” she added. “It makes pores and dark spots less visible, brightens, smooths, and fights shine – all without stripping skin. It’s everything for everyone. I’m obsessed with it.”

Michelle Pfeiffer

Henry Rose Smyth

To shop: $120; henryrose.com

When Michelle Pfeiffer became a mom, she began closely inspecting the ingredients list of all the beauty products she was using. The actress and founder of Henry Rose quickly discovered that many fragrances contained under-regulated and potentially harmful ingredients.

“I couldn’t imagine exposing my children to anything potentially toxic on my skin, so I gave up fragrance altogether," she shared in a statement. "But I really missed it and eventually realized that if I wanted a safer, beautiful quality perfume, I would need to create it myself.”

Pfeiffer worked with luxury fragrance house IFF to create Henry Rose, a line of genderless fine fragrances, made with high quality ingredients that haven't been proven to be harmful.

Henry Rose’s latest fragrance Smyth, is Pfeiffer’s fall favorite. “In my home in Northern California, there is a 100-year-old Granny Smith apple tree in the front yard. When it is in bloom, it gives off a light, sweet smell. Smyth is really the essence of what that scent is like for me,” she said. The fresh, fruity scent is backed with subtle sandalwood and layered musks — a great perfume to carry you through the end of summer, and well into fall.

Lady Gaga

Haus Laboratories Eye-Dentify Gel Pencil Eyeliner

To shop: $18; hauslabs.com

Lady Gaga’s creative expression goes far beyond her musical talents.

The singer and actress is well-known for her striking outfits and artistic makeup, as well. That's why last year, Gaga teamed up with her lead makeup artist Sarah Tanno, to create Haus Laboratories. "At Haus Laboratories, we say beauty is how you see yourself, your glam, your expression, your artistry,” Gaga said in a statement. “It is our vision to spread creativity by providing tools for self-expression and invention.”

The duos fall pick from the line? The Eye-Dentify gel pencil eyeliners. “We created these so you could write your own stories, develop your own perspectives, and show the world what you want them to see," Gaga added. "Your expression ends wherever you draw the line and nobody draws the line for you, ever."

The pencils are available in 20 shades, offering shimmer, matte, and metallic finishes. “I’m obsessed with the foiled metallic eyeliners, the bronze, and gold shades are so rich and are perfect for building a warm fall eye,” Tanno tells us. “I love that this formula doesn’t skip or tug so you can easily draw the line that expresses your individuality. Draw a colorful wing, highlight the inner corner of your eyes or color outside the lines — plus I love that it sets fast so you can throw it on and go.”

Jessica Alba

Honest Beauty Gloss-C Lip Gloss

To shop: $15; ulta.com

Jessica Alba has always been concerned about clean beauty, way before the term became popular.

For years, Alba struggled with skin sensitivity caused by allergies, and failed to find everyday products that she could trust. That's why she decided to develop her own line. “I created The Honest Company because you shouldn’t have to choose between what works and what’s good for you,” Alba shares with InStyle.

Alba’s favorite fall product is the new Honest Beauty Gloss-C Lip Gloss, which will make your lips pop for the season. “I’ve been rocking a glossy lip lately," she says. "It’s my favorite because it gives me the perfect amount of shine without any stickiness. Plus, it hydrates and nourishes my lips with vitamin C, coconut oil, and hyaluronic acid. Even though this is a color product, these ingredients provide skin care benefits and I feel that it actually makes my lips look healthier over time."

Her go-to shade is Star Ruby, but since the colors were inspired by crystals, you can reach for whatever matches your own energy.

Victoria Beckham Beauty Bitten Lip Tint in Chérie

To shop: $36; victoriabeckhambeauty.com

Victoria Beckham and long-time beauty executive Sarah Creal, developed Victoria Beckham Beauty with the idea that beauty should complement and enhance the dynamic life you lead.

The product line consists of clean, cruelty-free, high performance products that Beckham personally felt were missing from her makeup bag.

Engaging directly with her community is central to Beckham’s mission to provide a platform to discuss beauty and wellness solutions. That's why her latest product and fall favorite, Bitten Lip Tint in Chérie, was created with input from her customers.

The sheer natural-matte tint is made up with a blend of potent hydrators and botanical extracts that work to smooth, plump, and hydrate the lips.

“Our community loves Bitten Lip Tint, we can barely keep it in stock,” says Beckham. “After we launched with Bisou, a rich nude-berry, my DMs were flooded with requests for another shade. We developed a color entirely based on our community's feedback on Instagram. It was amazing! They joined our incredible product team on the journey to develop, test, and ultimately name our newest shade: Chérie."

The sheer pink-rose shade is universally flattering for all skin tones, and the gel formula is packed with nourishing ingredients to keep your lips moisturized — even as you venture out into the brisk fall air.
