“After their engagement, Prince William gifted The Duchess of Cambridge a set of sapphire and diamond earrings from Princess Diana’s personal collection,” shared Grant Mobley, renowned jewelry expert, gemologist and commentator on the royal family’s jewelry vault.

With their diamond halo surrounding a single large sapphire, they were a perfect match to her diamond and sapphire engagement ring, which was also previously owned by the late Princess Diana.

According to Mobley, Prince William gave Kate this beautiful Cartier watch on their third wedding anniversary, which she was seen wearing every day during their royal tour of Australia and New Zealand in 2014.

Retailing for just under $8,000, Kate has been spotted on multiple occasions wearing this classic timepiece.

“Prince William reportedly gifted Kate a stunning diamond flower brooch featuring a pink stone to commemorate the birth of their first child, Prince George. It was rumoured that the Prince enlisted the help of the Queen's jewellers to make this beautiful piece,” Mobley noted.

The royals, especially the Queen, are known for their love of diamond brooches and Kate appears to be following in her footsteps. In recent years, it seems that the Duchess has been advocating this classic style on behalf of younger generations, adding a touch of sparkle to many of her outfits worn for official engagements.

Meghan Markle

During their wedding in 2018, the Duchess of Sussex was seen sporting a large ring, adding a sentimental touch to her second look of the day.

“Prince Harry gifted the Duchess his mother’s aquamarine and diamond cocktail ring, which she was seen wearing for the first time on their wedding day leaving Windsor Castle to travel to their evening reception at Frogmore House,” shared Mobley.

“This beautiful diamond ring, which was created by celebrity jeweller Lorraine Schwartz, was a gift from Prince Harry to celebrate their wedding anniversary and the birth of their son, Archie,” Mobley shared.

Meghan updated the band of her engagement ring to also include a set of pavé diamonds, lending her set of rings a cohesive (and not to mention sparkling) look.
