What is it?
The Acer Chromebook 11 is a lightweight, ultra-thin laptop providing up to 10 hours of battery life. The Chromebook delivers crisp video and strong, consistent wireless signal thanks to the strategically placed 802.11ac wireless antenna.
It should be noted that Chromebooks are not the same as most laptops or MacBooks. If you’re a gamer or looking for something with video editing capabilities or the full Windows Office suite, this isn’t the machine for you. Chromebooks are a more streamlined, minimalist laptop, perfect if you’re looking to complete simple functions in a Chrome web browser or use android apps.
That being said, Chromebooks are perfect if you’re looking for a separate laptop to keep in the home or looking for simple, easy-to-use and affordable.

Verdict
The lightweight Chromebook is a great option if you’re not extremely tech savvy but still want to be able to send email, access social media and watch videos. Similarly, they’re a great option for a second unit to keep in the house when your main laptop or computer is in use.
The Chromebook is about as good as it gets for a $300 price tag. If you’re looking for something for the kids to use this year that isn’t a pricey MacBook, the Acer Chromebook 11 just might be right for you.
