Actress Blanco Blanco took a major risk at last night’s Oscars ceremony.
Arriving on the red carpet in a yellow gown complete with huge puffy shoulders and a leafy print, the 27-year-old star seemed to be working it in front of the waiting paparazzi.
But her extreme thigh-high slit ended up revealing way more than she had bargained for (much to the delight of tabloids around the world).

Blanco’s gown style has become known as the vagina dress after a spate of red carpet mishaps from other stars including Chrissy Teigen and Bella Hadid.
So-called for its revealing nature, the vagina dress caused a storm at the 2016 Venice Film Festival after Italian models Dayane Mello and Giulia Salemi were pictured sans underwear in two such gowns.
No matter how many catastrophes it causes, it seems celebrities can’t get enough of the genital-baring design.
