Actress poses for nude photo shoot 48 hours before giving birth

Christie Hayes is an Australian actress and mother of two boys. While many pregnant women tend to hunker down in whatever clothes they have left that fit hoping it will all be over soon, 48 hours before going into labour, Hayes posed for a nude photoshoot.
She recently shared the picture on her Instagram account after a friend expressed her sadness at having gained so much weight while pregnant.

“This nudie pic was taken the day before I went into labour. 48hrs later I was a first time mummy. As you can see, I’m totally on the rotund side and felt like a blue [whale],” she writes in the post.
She explains that she was exhausted having been unable to sleep the night prior and what a treat it was to have her hair and makeup done. More importantly, she wanted to show that even when she was feeling her absolute worst, she was still able to look beautiful.

“Don’t be down about your weight if you’re expecting- enjoy it as much as you can. It’s not important, celebrate your baby growing! The weight might fall off, it might slowly come off or it might stick around. Once you hold that little baby in your arms, none of that will matter,” she says.
“I promise you it’s all worthwhile.”
