'Ageless beauty' Jennifer Lopez shares a bikini photo to celebrate her 49th birthday
There’s no wrong or right way to celebrate your last birthday before the big 5-0, but flashing your rock-hard abs in a string bikini while popping corks with your loved ones surely has to rank up there.
That’s just how Jennifer Lopez marked her special day, according to an Instagram photo she shared Tuesday in honor of her 49th (not a typo) birthday. The Shades of Blue star wowed fans as she showed off her toned figure in a black string bikini with white ties, which she paired with quintessential J.Lo large hoop earrings.

Lopez’s “current birthday situation” involved beach time in the Bahamas with 10-year-old daughter Emme, boyfriend Alex Rodriguez, longtime manager Benny Medina, and other close pals. (The prosecco they’re holding, incidentally, is a sparkling wine from a line E!’s Giuliana Rancic launched last fall.)
The singer and actress’s Instagram Stories offered a clue to the secret behind her enviable figure: busting some dance moves on the beach. Once a Fly Girl, always a Fly Girl.
A smitten Rodriguez, meanwhile, documented other celebrations for the birthday girl, including breakfast in bed — yes, those are pancakes — and an alfresco sit-down meal.
Viola Davis, who was among several stars to offer birthday wishes on Instagram, called Lopez an “ageless beauty.” Her ex-boyfriend Diddy called the pic “pure inspiration.”
