Alicia Silverstone recreates iconic Clueless scene on TikTok with her son
Ugh, as if we needed another reason to love Alicia Silverstone. The Clueless star made her TikTok debut this weekend and all we can say is, we’re obsessed. In the clip, shared on Friday (June 4), Alicia recreated an iconic scene from the hit 90s movie with the help of her 10-year-old son, Bear.
Alicia wears a yellow tartan jacket just like the one worn by her character Cher Horowitz, and struts toward the camera to the sound of No Doubt’s track, Just a Girl.
Bear then joins her on screen and puts his arm around her, before she pushes him away and copies her character’s memorable line, “Ew, get off of me! Ugh, as if!” At the end of the video the pair share a cute mother-son moment as they hug and make up.
Alicia captioned the video: “Ugh! As if... I wouldn't join TikTok. 😉💛😘 #Clueless #AsIf”
It’s safe to say the video went down a real treat with fans of the 1995 teen comedy and has already racked up 5.8 million likes. Not bad for her first ever TikTok.
Unsurprisingly, fans went wild in the comments section. “MY FAV THING EVER” said one, “YOU ARE SO ICONIC” commented another. Some encouraged Alicia to keep the trend going, “Please recreate all the scenes” asked one excited fan, while other fans suggested fellow Clueless star Paul Rudd joined in on the fun.
