Alison Brie addresses allegations against brother-in-law James Franco at the 2018 SAG Awards

One of awards season's big nominees, GLOW star Alison Brie has been doing the red-carpet circuit alongside her husband Dave Franco and brother-in-law James Franco. But the family's excitement has been tempered by sexual misconduct allegations against the star of The Disaster Artist, which Alison addressed after being asked her thoughts by Giuliana Rancic on the E! red carpet.

"I think that above all what we've always said is that it remains vital that anyone who feels victimized should and does have the right to speak out and come forward," the 35-year-old said, stressing a point emphasized by the TIME'S UP movement.

She went on to caution people not to believe everything they read. "I obviously support my family and not everything that's been reported is fully accurate, so I think we're waiting to get all of the information. But of course I think now is a time for listening and that's what we're all trying to do."

At least five women have come forward saying James acted inappropriately both on and off set. The actor's lawyer has disputed the allegations, which were tweeted following his wearing a TIME'S UP pin at the Golden Globe Awards, where he took home a best actor statue.

Alison is hopefully still basking in the accolades she's received for her hilarious performance in the women's wrestling series. She's nominated at the Screen Actor's Guild Awards for her work as Ruth Wilder on GLOW and as part of the show's ensemble.
