The brand aims to offer consumers a simple approach to skincare with a “no beauty secrets, only beauty solutions” philosophy. The dermatologist-tested products are made with proven, straight-forward ingredients including hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and retinol.
“Our goal is to help customers spend less time and money searching for the right skincare solutions,” said Kara Trousdale, head of beauty for private brands, in the announcement. “We took a simple, no-nonsense approach when creating Belei, developing products with ingredients that are both proven to deliver results and also offer customers great value for the quality.”
Belei makes its debut with 12 skincare products ranging from cleansing wipes, serums, and moisturizers, all designed to target specific concerns. Each product is under $40 and provides solutions for concerns like acne, dull skin, dark spots and fine lines.
All products are free of parabens, phthalates, sulfates and fragrances. In addition, Belei does not test on animals, and all packaging is made from post-consumer recycled resin, with 100 percent recyclable cartons.
