Amber Rose has addressed her old tweet shading the Kardashians
Amber Rose has addressed one of her old tweets shading the Kardashians, seeming to apologise to Kim and her sisters for comments made back in 2015.
The 38-year-old, who dated Kanye West between 2008 and 2010, brought up the comments in a new Instagram Story, saying "[neither] Kim nor her sisters deserved that tweet."
The new post seems to refer to a February 2015 tweet from Amber, in which she wrote, "@kanyewest I’ll leave that up to the Kartrashians to humiliate u when they’re done with u [sic]." At the time, Kanye had been married to Kim for less than a year, sharing their then one-year-old daughter North.
Now, Amber has come forward to speak out about the message, saying it was "immature AF" and correcting "Kartrashians" to "KarDASHians".

Amber wrote on her Instagram Story:
"Man F**k that old ass tweet. I never got an apology for his [Kanye's] '30 Showers' comments but f**k it. I started my Slutwalk and helped Millions of women around the world stand up for themselves against Slut shaming so something amazing came out of it.
“[Neither] Kim nor her sisters deserved that tweet and y’all shouldn’t co-sign that either. S**t was old and immature AF of me to involve the KarDASHians in the mess HE made. Moving forward…. Learn from my mistakes. We all have kids and family’s [sic]. Life is hard enough right now for a lot of ppl. I just wanna spread love and positivity – Muva."
As for Amber's mention of Kanye's "30 Showers" comments, the reference is a call back to the rapper's very public insults, which were directed at Amber around the same time that she posted the tweet.
In February 2015, Kanye discussed Amber and Kim's then-feud during an interview on Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club. He said, "[Amber] is just soaking in the moment. Nobody feel compelled to do nothing. If Kim had dated me when I first wanted to be with her there wouldn't have been an Amber Rose."
He continued, "It's very hard for a woman to want to be with someone that's with Amber Rose. I had to take 30 showers before I got with Kim," before adding, "I just want to be respectful."
Amber previously spoke out about her split from Kanye during an interview on the No Jumper podcast in October 2020.
"I opted out," she said. "I don’t want my life to be like that. I’m not that type of person. And I don’t know if he says things to make his wife more comfortable, but to slut-shame me and say you needed 30 showers, like, bro, you took me around the world. Since when do you need 30 showers?... He has picked on me for 10 years. He has bullied me for 10 years."
We're glad Amber and the Kardashians seem to be on better terms.
