Amputee models walked the runway at London Fashion Week
Fashion label Teatum Jones doesn’t just preach diversity — they show it. Following the brand’s headline-generating show in February featuring Kelly Knox and Jack Eyers, both amputees, the brains behind the operation, Catherine Teatum and Rob Jones, are back at it again.
During the fashion duo’s runway show on Friday during London Fashion Week, they once again focused on the human form — in all its incarnations.
Knox, back again, strutted in a sleeveless aqua blue gown with a plunging neckline. She was joined by Natasha Baker, a Paralympic dressage rider, who was also featured in a video that played in the background called The Body Part Two. The athlete, who has no feeling in her legs, was the inspiration for the entire collection.

“It’s not about providing or developing product for able bodied or disabled bodied groups or consumers,” the designers told Yahoo Style following the show a few months back. “It’s about listening. It’s about engaging in the practical experiences that allow a conversation to develop between our two communities.”

Pale blue and pink dresses featured heavily; some with high Victorian collars, others printed with black garden plants. The Prairie-style designs were combined with olive Bardot knits and fluffy slip-on shoes with the odd striped combo appearing.
