Amy Adams Just Shared Why She Didn't Wear Make-Up In Public For Years

Reminiscing on her daughter's childhood, Amy remembers Aviana requesting that she keep it natural. 'She didn't like me wearing make-up,' Amy said.
'She's like, "I just want you to look like Mum, not like Amy Adams." And I was like, "You got it." So there were years when I didn't wear makeup wherever we went. I mean, I sneaked some mascara. But yeah, I wouldn't wear make-up because she wanted me to be just mum.'
Fast forward a few years to the present day, Amy hints that her now 14-year-old daughter's thoughts on the matter have changed. 'I'm usually the least manicured at my household [...] But lately, per my daughter's request, I'm working on an upgrade.
'She's like, "You can't wear workout clothes if you're not working out, Mum, you can't just do the leisure part of athleisure."'
And on that note, I reiterate that Gen Z's know best... says the fellow Gen Z.
