Angelina Jolie Wore a $5 Face Mask With a $6,000 Gown

Across the country right now, there are people questioning science and choosing not to wear a face mask in the middle of a global pandemic that has killed over 500,000 people. This doesn’t make any sense for obvious reasons, but especially because wearing a face mask isn’t particularly hard or expensive.

Angelina Jolie proved that there really is no reason not to wear a face mask, even if you are wearing a $7,000 gown by The Row (which you probably aren’t). While wearing said gown, Jolie wore a $5 Everlane face mask, which has finally been restocked after selling out almost immediately upon release. It’s also probably the most affordable accessory Jolie has ever worn — and by far the most important.

Everlane’s face masks come in black, tie-dye or stripes in packs of 5 for $25 or 3 for $18. And while wearing a face covering in public proves you have basic empathy for other human beings, Everlane’s face masks are even nicer than the standard face mask because 10% of proceeds are donated to the American Civil Liberties Union.

This probably explains why, out of all the fabric face masks on the market, Jolie would choose Everlane’s. She’s a famous humanitarian and these masks are called the 100% Human Face Mask. We’re pretty sure Jolie is 100 percent goddess, too, but we’ll let this one slide. Wearing a mask these days clearly makes you both.
