Angelina Jolie makes being bad look oh-so good.

The 44-year-old actress pulled out all the stops for the premiere of her latest film, “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.” Jolie arrived in a sequinned black Atelier Versace gown featuring a bold scorpion brooch by jeweller and friend Robert Procop. The star kept her makeup simple, choosing to accessorize the look with diamond Cartier earrings to celebrate her second turn as the iconic Disney villain.

“It feels powerful,” Jolie said of portraying the Sleeping Beauty witch which took an hour and a half to get into character with hair and makeup. “It’s hard not to. You’re like, eight feet tall. She feels quite elegant. There’s something about the head wrap and I think it’s because she was created during a time when there were those old fashioned, classic [stars]. She’s a bit delicious.”

The Oscar-winner arrived with five of the six children she shares with ex-husband Brad Pitt in tow, 15-year-old son Pax, 14-year-old Zahara, 13-year-old Shiloh and 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. Maddox, the couple’s eldest son is currently attending college in South Korea.

“They wrangle me,” Jolie said of her children. “Honestly they’re more together [than I am]. Zahara’s the most organized in the family. It’s just so wonderful to have their [support]... They’re my friends.”

Jolie was joined by costars Michelle Pfeiffer in a crimson Armani Privé gown and Elle Fanning in a woodland-inspired custom creation by Gucci.

Pfeiffer, 61, dished on potentially reprising her 1992 role as Catwoman in the upcoming film “The Batman” starring Robert Pattinson.

“I would be surprised but who knows anything can happen,” she told reporters, adding that she believed Fanning would be an “awesome” choice to take on the iconic character.
