Anna Faris Had a Nice Response to Her Ex Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger's Engagement

Yesterday, Chris Pratt announced that he and his girlfriend of roughly 9 months, Katherine Schwarzenegger, were engaged. The news comes a little over a year after Pratt and his wife Anna Faris ended their 8-year marriage in August 2017. But Anna is not bitter at all about it - in fact, she made it abundantly clear on Instagram that she wishes the couple absolutely nothing but the best. On Pratt's post, Anna commented, "I'm so happy for you both. Congratulations!"

Anna is also dating someone new: cinematographer Michael Barrett. Their relationship was first reported in October 2017. The four had a double date on Halloween this past year when they took Chris and Anna's son Jack trick-or-treating.

Back in October, E! made it clear that Anna is totally okay with Chris and Katherine's romance; E's source said that Katherine "adores" Jack. "Luckily they [Chris and Anna] are both dating people who love Jack and are very good with kids," the source said.

And the people closest to Chris and Katherine saw this engagement coming four months out. Back in September, People reported that their friends were convinced the two would put a ring on it soon. "They're such a great fit together," the source explained to People at the time. "It's only been a few months but Chris and Katherine are both very serious about the relationship and their friends wouldn't be surprised if they got engaged sooner rather than later. Katherine has spent time with Chris' family and they all love her too. She fits in really well with them and vice versa."
