Often played endlessly throughout the holiday season, this tried-and-true classic is loved by all (especially when it runs for 24 hours straight on Christmas Eve). This weekend, Fox is livening up this classic tale with a star-studded televised event.

Still true to the well-loved storyline, A Christmas Story Live! was given the Broadway treatment with new music and choreographed dance numbers (ahh!).
A Christmas Story Live!, debuting on Sunday night, includes a cast of comedic geniuses, including Matthew Broderick, Maya Rudolph, Chris Diamantopoulos, and Jane Krakowski. Eleven-year-old Andy Walken will play the coveted role of Ralphie. He reportedly beat out nearly 350 hopeful actors for this gig - and he's been documenting every step of his journey on Instagram.
