'Nothing more unfair': Ariana Grande cancels tour dates over allergic reaction to tomatoes

Ariana Grande postponed several shows of her world tour after the pop star suffered an allergic reaction to tomatoes.

Ariana Grande had to postpone several shows on her Sweetener world tour after suffering an allergic reaction to tomatoes.

And the new food allergy totally took the pop star by surprise.

The "7 Rings" singer, 25, revealed on Instagram Wednesday that she had to push back two shows in Tampa and Orlando to November because her "throat pretty much closed."

"We discovered ..... that ..... i had an unfortunate allergic reaction to tomatoes," Grande wrote. "Still feels like i’m swallowing a cactus but slowly making progress!"

As for any fans who think it's unfair they have to wait nearly six months to see Grande?

"There is NOTHING MORE UNFAIR THAN AN ITALIAN WOMAN DEVELOPING AN ALLERGY TO TOMATOES IN HER MID TWENTIES," she wrote.

Grande, who identifies as an Italian American, describing her nationality as "half Sicilian and half Abruzzese," called "cherry tomatoes (or) tomatoes of any kind" her food obsession years before her allergic reaction.

She thanked her fans or their "love and understanding."

"Can’t wait to get back to performing and to make it up… in November," she added.

Grande's Arianators instantly declared war against tomatoes.

"Boycott tomatoes! They hurt @ArianaGrande," Victoria Byrd tweeted, while Instagram user @newmovesmike created the hashtag "#DeathToTomatoes."

User @allyjworthy tweeted, "me and tomatoes are beefin rn @ArianaGrande."

"@ArianaGrande is allergic to tomatoes so I am allergic to tomatoes," @KelseyRogacki declared, while @ntltccs tweeted: "@arianagrande ended tomatoes PERIOD"

The Tampa and Orlando shows have been rescheduled ahead of Thanksgiving on November 24 and 25, respectively, according to Live Nation Florida.

"Tickets for tonight and tomorrow’s shows will be honored for the new dates," the ticket seller tweeted shortly after Grande made the announcement on her Instagram Story Tuesday. "Refunds are available at the point of purchase."

Meanwhile, Grande is still recovering from her questionable new wax figure in Madame Tussauds' London location.

"I just wanna talk," a bemused Grande commented on Pop Crave's Instagram photo of her wax statue.

Her fans seemed to agree that the creation is a bit off: "This Ariana Grande wax figure is actually offensive," @kellykeegs opined.
