Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, who they're naming their new charitable venture after, has apparently reached a major milestone.

Now living out in sunny Los Angeles, ever since his parents decided to step down from their senior royal duties in an attempt to get more privacy, it's reported that the wee'un is *this* close to walking. Too sweet!

According to royal expert, Katie Nicholl, not only has Archie now smashed his first words ('dada', 'mama', 'book' and 'dog', should you be interested), but he's also found his feet - literally. "I think he is just about walking," said Nicholl while chatting to Entertainment Tonight. "He’s a very happy little boy, he’s loving life in L.A."

The royal insider also added that the luxurious home the family has been staying in, while stunning, isn't where Meghan and Harry want to live on a permanent basis. "They are still staying at [actor] Tyler Perry’s house. I’m told they haven’t found their forever home yet, they’re still looking."

So, lots of changes taking place for the newly emigrated family then! Let's hope their new long-term spot, wherever that may be, has plenty of garden space for Archie to run around in (somehow we suspect it will, given Meghan also has two dogs and a love of the great outdoors).

Nicholl also shared that it's a real joy for Archie's parents to see him grow. "They really do love that family time and they’ve had a lot of that recently. They both feel very grateful for that time they’ve had at home with Archie, watching him achieve all of those milestones."

Fingers crossed that we'll be treated to a video of the little one running around in the Californian sunshine soon!
