Singer Ariana Grande has revealed a bee tattoo she had done as a poignant tribute to the victims of the terrorist attack that took place last year at the end of her Manchester concert.

No Tears Left To Cry was the first single Ariana released since the Manchester attack, and featured a bee flying away at the end of its touching video, which people are connecting to this.

However, the bee became a symbol of a city working together – and due to its beehive reputation the city gained during the Industrial Revolution – many began getting the tattoo in the wake of the attack, and she’s only just revealed hers publicly.

Tuesday marked the one-year anniversary of the tragic attack where Salman Abedi detonated a device that killed 22 innocent people and injured a further 139 in the Manchester Arena’s foyer as fans were making their way out of the concert.

And the star, 24, shared her heartfelt thoughts to all the survivors and those affected, offering love to all her fans and families on Twitter.

But now the Side To Side popstar has revealed her tribute tattoo: a small bee behind her ear to symbolise the loss of life and the One Love Manchester charity concert that came afterwards.

She captioned the Instagram posted ‘Forever’, as she shared it to her 120 million followers.

Last summer, the One Last Time singer organised a charity concert just weeks after the tragedy that saw her return to Manchester alongside a list of singers to raise money (and awareness) for the victims.

Names included Chris Martin, Miley Cyrus, Little Mix, and Liam Gallagher, as a star-studded concert took place at the Emirates Old Trafford venue, where some 50,000 fans turned up.

The One Love Manchester event raised £2 million on the night for the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund in just a few short hours, with somewhere in the region of £10 million collected overall.
