Ariana Grande’s supernatural talent isn’t her voice — it’s her living ponytail

Besides her out-of-this world voice, Ariana Grande’s other enduring talent is her out-of-this-world ponytail — and the latest bit from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon plays that to full effect.

Its exceptional length has caught the attention of everyone, including her fiancé, Pete Davidson, and her not-fiancé President Bill Clinton.

But last night, Fallon discovered something a little unsettling about Grande’s pony: It’s alive. Whatever she does — from fetching LaCroixs from a minifridge to answering a phone, to signing an autograph for a freaked-out Questlove — her ponytail functions for Grande as a kind of sentient third hand.

An origin story has yet to be established, but back in May, she told the music magazine the Fader that it “has gone through an evolution, and I’m proud of that.”

And look out Spider-man and Batman, there’s a new crime-fighting vigilante on the streets, or at least backstage at Fallon — at one point, it trips up and cuffs a purse burglar.
