Ariel Winter Wore Kylie Jenner-Style Ripped Jeans

Ariel Winter is known for her tendency to gravitate toward provocative, daring styles. The 19-year-old recently shared images on her Instagram in which she tries out a revealing a trendy look favored by a few members of the celeb set: jeans with rips on her posterior.

Winter posed in a light-wash pair of jeans — showing off the rips — with a white crop top and platform heels.

She let the image speak for itself, adding a simple emoji to the post. Her followers seem to have mixed opinions on the style statement.

Some weren’t exactly fans. “Eww those jeans don’t even look good, now every time you sit down on a cold seat your butt will be even colder,” one follower commented. “I respect the confidence statement, but it’s not exactly my favorite trend or something I would do. Love you, Ariel,” another added.

Others approved. “Girlfriend, I need those jeans!!” one said. Another commended Winter for her boldness, writing, “So much confidence ❤.” Days earlier, Winter had posted another image wearing a ripped pair of denim.

Many users on the platform noted that the trend is also favored by the Kardashians — especially youngest sister Kylie Jenner.

In August 2016, Jenner posted a number of images on her popular Instagram channel in which she wears jeans with the similar ripped style.

At the time, Jenner received the same mixed reception from her followers that Winter did.

The trend might be controversial, but it’s undeniable that the jeans are attention-grabbing.
