Atomic Kitten release official single of 'Southgate You're The One' ahead of England's Euro semi-final
Atomic Kitten have officially released a new version of their hit Whole Again ahead of England's Euro 2020 semi-final against Denmark.
The girlband's 2001 No 1 single has been revived as a football anthem by fans, who have changed the lyrics in tribute to England manager Gareth Southgate.
Now Liz McClarnon, Natasha Hamilton and Jenny Frost have officially released a reworked football-themed version of their hit – 16 years since their last single together.
The band said: "It’s been a whirlwind couple of days, but we are super excited and grateful to be able to contribute to the awesome energy and patriotism that is filling the Streets with a brand new version of Whole Again.

"Totally inspired by the England Football fans in support of Gareth Southgate and the super talented England Football team, we Liz, Natasha and Jenny will be singing loud and proud 'Football’s Coming Home!'."
The lyrics to the chorus for Whole Again are: "Looking back on where we first met, I can not escape and I cannot forget.
"Baby you're the one, you still turn me on, and you can make me whole again."
The Southgate You're The One version changes the second half to: "Southgate you're the one, you still turn me on, football's coming home again."
Whole Again debuted at No 1 when it was first released in 2001 and topped the charts for four weeks.
When it was first released it featured original member Kerry Katona – who spoke all the verses, while McClarnon and Hamilton sang the chorus – but she left the band just before its release after falling pregnant with her first child.
She was replaced in the line-up by Jenny Frost.
Katona re-joined the group in 2012 as part of ITV2 show The Big Reunion but left again in 2017.
Atomic Kitten's last single Cradle was released in 2005.
The official UEFA Euro 2020 anthem is We Are The People featuring U2's Bono and The Edge and DJ/producer Martin Garrix.

Rappers Krept and Konan have released We Are England, while Keith Lemon, Will Mellor, Danny Dyer, Paddy McGuinness and Happy Mondays stars Bez and Rowetta have teamed up to release Vindaloo Two for the tournament.
And the Lightning Seeds' Three Lions, featuring David Baddiel and Frank Skinner, has also climbed back up the charts following England's success against Germany in the quarter-finals.
