Avril Lavigne enjoyed a tasty treat after hitting the stage in Ottawa, Ont.

On Monday, the 37-year-old took to her Instagram stories to film herself enjoying a cinnamon sugar BeaverTail — a quintessential Canadian pastry — with her bandmates.

"I got a BeaverTail, and they come from here, from Ottawa. This is Canadian," Lavigne said in the video. "It's kind of like a doughnut with cinnamon and butter."

"This is so good!" she added. "After show food!"

In the video, the singer looked at the camera while munching on the pastry. She rocked a dramatic smoky eye and pin-straight tresses while wearing a black hoodie and a gold necklace.

The multi-platinum artist and Juno award winner is on her first Canadian tour in over ten years. Over the month of May, the singer will travel across the country for the Bite Me Canada 2022 tour, which features All Time Low, grandson and fiancée Mod Sun as special guests.

This isn't the first time Lavigne has shared her love of Canadian cuisine. In March, Lavigne told ET Canada she was "excited" to get back to Canada to enjoy a variety of Canadian delicacies.

Lavigne told a reporter that she enjoys "poutine, cheese curds, ketchup chips, Swiss Chalet and Tim Hortons" whenever she returns home.

"It's usually drive through and immediately go to Tim Horton's and get an iced cappuccino and Timbits and like a dozen donuts," she added. "And then once I start I can't stop and then I eat it every day and I go back to L.A. five pounds heavier. Worth it!"

Fans were quick to weigh in on her choices, praising her Canadian culinary favourites.

"Literally. Same. When I fly back from L.A. to Toronto, I need Tim Horton's," a fan wrote.

"Good choices! Love Avril. Can't wait to see her in Canada soon," said another.

"Canadian must haves: 1. Poutine 2. Cheese curds 3. Ketchup chips 4. Swiss Chalet 5. Tim Hortons," confirmed another.
