Avril Lavigne is enjoying a morning on the water.

On Thursday, the 37-year-old singer-songwriter took to her Instagram story to share a series of videos from a sunrise pedal boat ride.

In the first clip, Lavigne posted a video of a calm yet foggy lake with a "6:05am" timestamp to indicate the time of day she took the video.

Next, the Belleville, Ont.-native shared a selfie of her pouting her lips on the boat in the middle of the water. She wore a light grey Champion sweatshirt, tied her hair in a messy bun at the top of her head, and opted for her signature kohl-rimmed eyes.

In the third and fourth videos, the star showed fans the rising sun as she pedalled the boat across the water.

"This is lake life. Wake up at six in the morning, or stay up until six in the morning," Lavigne joked on the story.

Recently, the pop punk princess was a special guest at Machine Gun Kelly's "Mainstream Sellout" tour, which wrapped up in Cleveland, Ohio last week. The "Complicated" singer now has a brief break before her global "Love Sux" tour resumes in Peru at the beginning of September, so it's possible the musician is enjoying some well-deserved time off.

Earlier this month, fans went crazy after Lavigne shared a series of photos of her hanging out with Canadian celebrities on Instagram.

The "Girlfriend" songstress made an appearance at Drake, Nicki Minaj and Lil' Wayne's highly anticipated Young Money show at the Budweiser Stage after it was previously cancelled due to Drake testing positive for COVID-19, and even took a photo with Drake and Canadian singer Fefe Dobson after the show.

"What an incredible weekend of music and friends," Lavigne captioned the post, which has been liked more than 463,000 times.

The same weekend, Spoke Entertainment — a talent management company — took to Instagram to post a fun snap of Lavigne, Dobson and Nelly Furtado hanging out at the Lady Gaga concert, which took place at the Rogers Centre.

The trio looked happy and relaxed as they smiled for the camera in what appeared to be a box at the event, complete with a framed picture of the Toronto Blue Jays.
