Indigo 1 (Year 5) from Greasley Beauvale Primary School in Eastwood crowned the nation’s funniest with ““What happened to the math teacher’s garden? It grew square roots” joke. The winning class have been immortalised in Beano form by being featured inside the latest comic issue. Each individual member of the class has been recreated by the legendary Beano cartoon artist team.
