Beating the 9-5 slump: tips for a healthy work day

Something about September feels like a fresh start. While you’re most likely not going back to school, there’s something about the beginning of fall that makes you feel like you’re rebooting and re-connecting with your goals before heading into the winter months.

If you’re hoping to lose a bit of weight or get more active before holiday season is in full effect, keep reading. We all know sitting at a desk for eight hours a day is not ideal for our bodies, and this list will act as a reminder of small commitments you could be making that won’t completely hijack your productivity or social time in the office.

These are just a few suggestions on ways to make your daily work routine a bit healthier. You don’t have to implement every point immediately, but try incorporating a couple at a time and you’ll be surprised at the difference it can make.
