This Beautiful New Cover of "Hallelujah" Will Give You Chills

From Woman's Day

Christmas is just around this corner, and this new track is bound to put you in a holiday state of mind.

Renown a capella group Pentatonix just released their 2016 Christmas album, A Pentatonix Christmas, complete with this moving cover of the 1984 classic "Hallelujah" written by Leonard Cohen. Using only their stunning voices and free of any instruments, the group of five singers beautifully recreates the song in this video. Not surprisingly, it's already wildly popular.

In the 32 years since the original tune debuted, there have been hundreds of artists who have recorded the song, according to The Telegraph. The most famous cover, performed by Jeff Buckley, made the song an international sensation, and this new version is about to do that all over again. Since the new music video premiered on YouTube on October 21, it's already been viewed more than 10 million times! Perhaps it's a bit too early to listen to Christmas music, but this is one spiritual song you can listen to year-round. Take a listen.
