Behind the Scenes in Morocco

The fall collections were full of rich fabrics, textures and details which made me think of one place: Morocco. So I decided, why not shoot a fashion story in this otherworldly country which has long inspired fashion designers? In fact, one of my favorite collections was Lanvin’s, whose creative director Alber Elbaz is actually from Casablanca— I knew I was onto something. So I decided let’s go to Morocco to shoot a few fashion story and never mind that it’s August and 100 degrees and we will need to travel seven hours between each destination— not to mention we were traveling with a team of a 11 people and 14 trunks of clothes! While we captured some beautiful images of fashion in the most magical settings (from Casablanca to Fez to Chefchaouen), we also wanted to show you what happened behind the scenes! Check out the wonders of this stunning country through our eyes! Enjoy.
