Bella Hadid and Gigi Hadid don’t leave their daring style on the runway. And while the sisters might be the models of the moment, they were seen leaving the Milan Fashion Week Versace SS17 show in bold time-traveling ensembles.
After they both walked the supermodel-filled show, also featuring Naomi Campbell, Doutzen Kroes, Irina Shyak and Adriana Lima, they were seen holding hands as they left the venue from what seems was a different decade.
In vintage-style sunglasses, Bella channeled the 1980s while Gigi teetered between the 1960s and 1970s.
Bella’s ‘80s look was brought to you by big black geometrical sunglasses with sharp corners, reminiscent of Run DMC’s favorite Cazals. Her accompanying outfit was also reminiscent of the same period, featuring a Versace ensemble consisting of a light blue leather miniskirt and long-sleeved turtle-neck cropped sweater. She also carried a leather jacket that matched her skirt. Bella’s tiny tummy was on full display.
Gigi was headed for a different era. Her small white and clear cateye sunglasses could have been plucked right right off of Audrey Hepburn’s face. However, her billowing multi-pattern shirt was pushing the early 1970s thanks to a hippy-esque cream crochet embellishment.
The girls wore the same black booties that we’re going to guess were Versace. They arrived at the show in these outfits as well, and Gigi even wore the exact look out on the town later that night.
Luckily this post-show moment was not as tumultuous as Thursday’s for Gigi, when she was grabbed by a strange male after the Max Mara show. This time, their somber looks say, “don’t mess with the Hadid girls.”
