Bella Hadid embraced the sheer catsuit trend once again last night
The unlikely new trend for the sheer catsuit appears to be gaining traction. Last night, Bella Hadid took to the catwalk for Moschino wearing a revealing black lace ensemble, which was not dissimilar to what she wore for the Bazaar Icons party during New York Fashion Week earlier this month.
Hadid's Milan Fashion Week look was made up a completely sheer black material with scribble prints all over it, which revealed her nude underwear. It was paired with a Moschino logo necklace, black heels and a matching hat.
Although it was perhaps the most revealing look in creative director Jeremy Scott's latest collection for the Italian label, it nods to a growing red-carpet trend that has already been seen on both Hadid sisters and Rihanna.
First up, Gigi Hadid wore a sheer, crystal-embellished catsuit by Adam Selman for an event during NYFW before younger sister Bella wore a nude, corseted catsuit that same week. Rihanna then donned a sheer lace catsuit to her Diamond Ball, but added a full skirt, which made it a more modest look.
While the jury is still out on whether regular people will embrace this latest trend in naked dressing, it certainly seems as if it won't be dwindling for celebrities anytime soon.
