Bella Thorne is trying to not let coronavirus impact her career.
On Monday, the 23-year-old actress shared on Instagram that she’s been getting tested regularly for COVID-19 in order to work and travel.
“A good bye for now!!! Italy off we go ... covid tested before anyone enters, with as many music videos and shoots I have directed in the last two months I have spent 45 k in covid tests so far!! Thank u to my twin friends at no vacancy for hosting an amazing night,” Thorne wrote.

Though plenty of fans expressed how much they enjoyed Thorne’s photos, others commented their disbelief with her claim that she spent so much money on COVID-19 screening.
“Covid tests are so hard to come by and are in shortage and you’ve used 45k worth of resources,” one person said.
“Its not that I don't want you to have fun but its kinda sucky that you just buy your little tests and have your parties while others lose jobs bc they can't get tested,” someone wrote.
“Why have you spent 45k in Covid tests when they’re supposed to be free?” another person wondered, with a different commenter noting that “in Canada tests are free.” Thorne responded to that remark by asking: “Can u speak to our president?”
Currently, the two tests being offered for coronavirus are viral testing and antibody tests to look for past infections. According to the United States Department of Health and Human Services, these tests are provided at no cost throughout the country. Local health centers along with national pharmacies like CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aid are providing free coronavirus screenings.
However, it’s likely that Thorne has employed private doctors, which don’t accept insurance, to issue tests for workers. According to a concierge doctor based in Los Angeles, Calif., it costs $299 to have a medical professional go to your house. “That includes the testing and everything, that’s an all-in price,” Dr. Abe Malkin of Concierge MD LA explained.
