Ben Simmons is a brolic rookie who makes his scoring impact bowling over bodies in the paint. Celtics forward Marcus Morris’ intensity is always running high. On Thursday, their worlds collided across the pond when Simmons flattened Morris while attempting to set a screen for Kyrie Irving.

Morris immediately popped up, shoved Simmons and the two were quickly separated by teammates. Parliament has seen more physicality, but for a few seconds, they gave the audience inside London’s O2 Arena a good display of NBA faux-fighting. At the time, the Celtics led by 15 with approximately four minutes remaining in regulation. Morris, who dropped an efficient 19 points on Philly’s head, was issued a technical for his part in the scuffle while Simmons was merely issued a common foul because he had not made contact above the shoulders. Morris’ tech had no effect on the outcome as the Celtics departed with the 114-103 win.
