In 2017, the actress admitted on her website Goop that this "goth" look was one of her most memorable Oscar looks, but for all the wrong reasons. "There were a few issues; I still love the dress itself but I should have worn a bra and I should have just had simple beachy hair and less makeup," Paltrow said. "Then, it would have worked as I wanted it to - a little bit of punk at the Oscars."

The final preparations are underway for the 92nd Academy Awards, airing Sunday, Feb. 9. For the second year in a row, there will be no host. Instead, Hollywood’s most prestigious awards will be handed out by some of the biggest names in film, including Tom Hanks, Keanu Reeves and Natalie Portman.
