Bethenny Frankel is giving fans a look at the "real" her.
On Tuesday, the former star of "The Real Housewives of New York" shared a fresh-faced selfie to Instagram along with a message about beauty and aging.
"I figured it was time for a zero makeup, straight out of the shower, selfie for all of you non-plastic surgery non-filterers," the 51-year-old wrote. "You are naturally beautiful."
The Skinnygirl mogul's post was meant to normalize aging in an attempt to "keep it real" with her fans and followers.
"It’s important that an honest portrayal of women is communicated because the younger generation has a distorted perception of reality, beauty, and expectations," she wrote.
Frankel's post was met with support from some of her fans who appreciated her message.
"Amen, Bethenny. You look fabulous," one Instagram user commented. "We're all going to get old. Everybody has to just age gracefully."
"Thank you for always keeping it real!" another said.
"Natural beauty at its finest. Thanks for being genuine," another replied.
"I’m here for the natural beauty," someone else echoed.
One person pointed out that Frankel looks like she might be wearing a small amount of makeup, but admitted they're still glad that she shared the message and made an attempt to be transparent.
"It kinda looks like you are wearing mascara but nonetheless, I'm proud of you for the attempt to reveal your natural self. I know it's not an easy thing to do when people on social media are so critical all the time," they wrote. "But thank you for sharing this message! It's important for society to start embracing more than one kind of beauty."
In April 2021, Frankel got candid about what cosmetic procedures she's had, revealing to People that she's had a breast lift and cosmetic injections.
“Filler is scary but I believe in Botox because it decreased the size of my jaw," she said. "I grind my teeth. so it relaxes the muscle. I don’t use it as often as I should. I should set a calendar to look in the mirror. If I look like a Shar-Pei that’s when I know I need it next.”
