Birmingham Bowl gets USF's name wrong on T-shirt

On Dec. 23, South Florida will play in the Birmingham Bowl for the second straight season, this time against Texas Tech.

The Birmingham Bowl website has plenty of merchandise if fans want to stock up before making the trip to Alabama, including this T-shirt.

Notice a problem? Here’s a closer look at the design.

Yeah, the school is called the University of South Florida, not South Florida University.

It’s an honest mistake, no doubt, but the fact that USF is playing in Birmingham for a second year in a row (USF beat South Carolina last year) makes it much worse.

That’ll undoubtedly be fixed soon. For now, you can still purchase your very own South Florida University T-shirt on the Birmingham Bowl website! Also available in long-sleeve and sweatshirt! True collector’s items!
