Will Bling Empire Get a Season 2?

From Town & Country

Everyone could use an escapist fantasy these days—and earlier this month, Netflix's Bling Empire provided just that. Billed as a real-life Crazy Rich Asians, the addictive reality show follows exorbitantly wealthy Asian Americans around L.A. as they shop for designer wares on Rodeo Drive, struggle to outdo one another's outlandish parties, and consult a smattering of fortune tellers and shamans. It's ridiculous, delightful, and absolutely addicting.

So will there be a season two? Here's what we know so far.

Netflix hasn't made any announcements yet.

Nothing's certain until the streaming service reveals a season two is in the works—but there are some positive signs that Bling Empire could continue.

The show's creator definitely wants the series to continue.

"We just celebrated 14 years of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. I would love to take this cast even further," Jeff Jenkins, the veteran reality TV producer behind both KUWTK and Bling Empire, told T&C.

He continued, "I mean, there's so much that has happened in their lives since season one was shot. There's just so much going on. God willing, viewers enjoy it and respond."

Some key cast members are onboard too.

Speaking to T&C about what he and Anna Shay have gotten up too since filming on season one wrapped, Kane Lim said, "we need a season two for that." And asked directly whether she'd would take part in a second season, Shay said she would.
