There are all kinds of Thanksgiving turkey recipes out there -- some that bring out the inner foodie and others more reflective of our time-constraint reality. The following recipe definitely falls into both categories.

Meet the paper bag turkey. Yep, turkey made in a paper bag. And it doesn't even require basting.

Now before all you traditionalists go off about how making paper bag turkey isn't close to an authentic holiday meal, know that this recipe from Food.com appears more lowbrow that it is. Seriously, even Martha Stewart has come up with her version of a paper bag turkey.

Here are all the ingredients you'll need:

1 (12 -16 lb) whole turkey (any size)
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup kosher salt
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon poultry seasoning
1 tablespoon Montreal chicken seasoning (a mixture of course salt, course ground pepper and garlic granules)
prepared stuffing, your favourite
1 tablespoon olive oil
