'Blue Bloods' Fans Say Bridget Moynahan 'Deserves Respect' After Seeing Her Latest Instagram About the Show

On Blue Bloods, Bridget Moynahan portrays Erin Reagan, a hard-hitting lawyer campaigning to become Manhattan district attorney. And it seems Bridget shares some of Erin's no-nonsense attitude.

Bridget took to Instagram to vent about a newspaper that included a plug for the latest episode of Blue Bloods in its "what to watch" section. Sounds like good news, right? Well, the publication made an unfortunate mistake: They misspelled the 51-year-old actress's name.

Bridget posted a photo of the error with this message, "You would think after all these years and the number of times you’ve all put my life on your pages, you could spell my name correctly. But thanks for the @bluebloods_cbs shout out! Tune in tonight to an all new episode." The star is seemingly referring to media coverage of her past relationship with NFL star Tom Brady, which became tabloid fodder in 2006. Fans jumped to the comments section to show their support.

  • "Agreed! You deserve respect!🔥"

  • "Never spell anyone’s name wrong 😑 that’s a huge nono!!"

  • "Annoyed at the misspelling of your name but always happy to see you shine 💕"

  • "Drama🤣🙈"

The good news is Blue Bloods returns with the episode "The Big Leagues" on February 3. Tom Cavanagh will reprise his role as Danny's (Donnie Wahlberg) friend Mickey, and Anthony (Steve Schirripa) surprises Erin with one last stakeout before she begins her run for district attorney.
